OpenAI reportedly skipped GPT-6.1 and is quietly testing GPT-6.2 Astra in the Codex backend, handling nearly 20% of traffic. Meanwhile, Claude Mythos 5.5 and Fable 5.5 were spotted in the source code of Anthropic’s own website.
